| Agrium is a leading global marketer and producer of agricultural nutients in North and South America as well as a major retail supplier of agricultural products and services to farmers in many parts of North and South America. We produce and market three primary groups of nutrients: nitrogen, phosphate, and potash as well as micronutrients. The Agrium Vanscoy Potash Operations, located 32 km southwest of Saskatoon, produces three sizes of high quality potash for shipment to markets around the world. The ore body is 1 km below th surface. An extensive network of underground roads takes workers to the mine faces and various shops. This operation directly employs about 400 people. |
